Time to do some mindcleaning:

0700-0730: Prepare for Math consult.
0730-0800: Go to photocopying shop to get the econs answers, & prepare for econs consult.
0800-0930: Econs consult.
0930-1030: Math consult.
1030-1230: Chemistry Mock Paper 3
1230-1300: Lunch
1300-1430: Econs Lecture.
1430- 1530: Either Chem consult or econs treat.
1530- 0100: Go home, blahblah.

Worries:
- Not enough time for math consult. Prepare beforehand!!!
- Waste time on chemistry consult, when i need to study econs... I'll leave it to God. If He feels that the questions are important, He'll definitely give me a timeslot to clear them.
- Econs, econs, econs...

Miscellaneous:
- Get calculator stickers.
- Get highlighter from the bookshop, and another foolscap pad.
- Go home ASAP! Don't waste time hanging about in school.
- Get bio answers for Kang Li.

Some random stuff I have been thinking about recently

1. I saw an advert for hair treatment at the mrt. Nothing really special until some time after i passed it, when I realised: she wasn't really the sort of models you'll regularly see.

Ah, what an interesting advertisement. There was a label saying she was a homemaker and suffered from post natal hair loss. Chances are, that's the kind of problems the people who'll be reading it will be facing. Some smart marketing there. Something people can relate to. The advertisement was not perfect, but perfect at the same time...

2. Why is it that for the national day rally speech, there has to be 3 ministers who'll be talking in front of the prime minister? (something unusual..)

We can apply the advertising techniques employed by firms here.

INFORMATIVE ADVERTISING: Informing consumers (aka the citizens) about the existence and availability of these new ministers.

All 3 of them are young. And aside from that, as a Singaporean since birth, I've only ever heard of one of them. Chances are, most singaporeans don't even know about their existence too.

And well... They'll be in the parliament for quite awhile, might as well. Plus they just MAY be the ones who'll be helping PAP after a few years.

PERSUASIVE ADVERTISING:

Hmm. 4 ministers seem quite a lot... At least it shows that they've sincerity. And in a way, this is an indirect way of marketing the new ministers. Show that they care. That they're taking after the welfare of citizens. That they're bright and creative. That they're cable of coming up with good policies. Bg putting them together with the prime minister, especially at the national day rally, people will definitely treat them seriously to a certain extent. That's a good first impression...

Happy early national day Singapore!

Today was national day celebration in school - same as last year, no surprise. In the morning it was the uniform groups' march in and stuff, followed by the concert in the hall which was quite sian. But well, happy national day Singapore!

Went to Charmaine's house later. Totally have no idea how the class vid is gonna turn out. Haish. It's more of a music video... I hope I'm wrong :) went to school to find julia afterwards. cheers

Mr Khairul treated us to koi today! Monday is a short day for us ending at 1, plus mrs tan didn't come today so the day seemed kinda fast. I'm in a hurry to finish the purple booklet before prelims. Saw that some people have already started on the green... Respect!

Why I should study bio now

1. Theres a mock paper on Monday.
2. If I don't study for the mock paper, I'll feel horrible when I do it.
3. I'll be wasting the practice.
4. I'll feel demoralised after doing the mock paper.
5. There isn't enough time left before prelims to study bio already.
6. Bio prelims is coming around the corner!!
7. Procrastinating and wasting my time away wouldn't let me gain anything at all.
8. God is with me.

Just another phrase of my life

So recently it has just been a mad rush after another mad rush to get work and more work done. To finish tutorials. To squeeze in some revision. I'm trying desperately to be extremely efficient, and would like to thank God for bringing a lot of people into my life that has motivated me: Like Julia, Kang Li and Xin Yi.

Today has been a really unproductive day. Lets hope tomorrow will be a better one.

I know, more than ever, what it feels like to put in all the hardwork and shit but then get an S. At that moment, i was really disappointed. Numb, maybe. WHY??? Why is it that other people who have put in the same effort or lesser are scoring higher? After some thinking....

Maybe they worked harder than me. Maybe, I didn't really try my best.

Yes, I thought that what i was putting in was enough. But maybe it wasn't. I was stalking some random people on fb when i came across this quote. When i saw it, it was as if... it was speaking to me.

"If you tried your best and failed, you have not tried hard enough."

I am not a person to give up so easily. I will strive and strive until I get my As. Speaking of targets, my target for Prelims is to get all A/Bs. Yes, difficulty level x1000. But certainly not impossible. Although I admit I've lots of stuff to catch up on /: My current grades is like... DED??? That's damn screwed up. How do i make the jump? With only about one month more?

Anyway it's been a long time since i blogged. Lots of stuff have happened. Time flies huh :D Hahaha. Because i feel like it, i shall post a crazy picture of me and YY i found somewhere hidden in facebook. We went photoboothing during farewell party last year xD Total of... i think 200 photos? No wonder noone bothered to tag it. Anyway my hair was so messy because the pose before that was the messy hair pose hahaha :-)

Haven't been doing much this june holidays, other than jogging, texting, sleeping.. and.. most importantly studying. :c

Dream that lasted bout 10 mins

I was returning home with my friend and i rmb being scared because he disappeared halfway just at clem ave 6. The govt was enforcing super fees for every trip the military way.(that's what I deduced but I'm not too sure)

Enforcement was not honest and fair of course. It was super scary at night and busses were queuing up all the way at clementi. I remember seeing 852, 187. All busses were full but not moving and people couldn't come out. I remember seeing Joseph, Ying Mei and some of my classmates.

The time for the last bus ended alrd but still it was jammed up all the way. Even though all the people were still alive, I had a bad feeling that all the people were gonna die if they didn't have enough money to pay. I didn't know that at first, when I entered the mrt through a side gate I saw many bodies lying around. I panicked and started running even faster to get to the main area to see how I could help. Just when I was about to open the door to enter, an old classmate grabbed me and told me not to open. There was a small window made of clear glass on the door which I had opened. Just then someone who was wearing security guard clothes came by. Desiree(that's her name, an old classmate of mine) quickly tried to close it and caught his attention. The window thing couldn't be closed properly. He came nearer and nearer. He then opened the window and took Desiree's ez link card. Her card had 6.50. He tapped once, then again and again and again. Her value dropped rapidly until the guard seemed satisfied. She quickly snapped the window shut.

(that was when my laptop started playing random songs which woke me up)

Just spent the entire night editing everyone's stuff for NUTS. CCA stuff done (Y) At least I finished everything.

Haven't done any of my schoolwork though. Things to do: Chem ionic equi tutorial, math 10A, 10B, 11, Chem revision package, Econs read lecture notes x2, ICS concept map and tutorial. fml.

It doesn't help that I accidentally slept for 3 hours just now, woke up and spent the rest of my time playing piano. Plus I can't fall asleep now. I feel like dying, seriously D:

Random post

2am and I can't sleep. Gotta say the blogger app on iPhone is quite good and I can post stuff as fast, or even quicker than if I use the computer.

Have been quite stressed out over Cca, piano and of course studies. Gotta Jiayou! I really hope that NUTS is a success. And that I can faster finish all the revision packages from last time de. I'm like doing last time work and not what's given at the present.

That's baddddddd jyjyjy. Not to mention lots of piano time everyday!

So stress I need some care :(

Why am I doing this to myself?

And, I hate it when people judge me for what I can or can't do.

Everything's screwed up.. Can't even find my revision package. Perhaps a bumpy start to a new year is what God is giving me to wake up.

I'm finding faults with my own life. I guess I'm gonna read my last good novel for the year until the end of As. (By good, I mean something thats thicker than at least 3 of my fingers..)

School is real mundane, not complaining though. Been coping badly this few months, and I'm not sure if i now have the capability of improving anymore.

Life's tough, and we all need to seek direction in life. On a side note, just wrote a nomination for MCTA for my form teacher, (or rather, in JC they call it a Civics tutor or whatever). And poof, half hour gone... Oh my, so much for my newfound habit of sleeping early. Sometimes I really hate myself and my inability to control my behavior :)

Bio class test tomorrow but im not sleeping... feel wide awake now talking to a random person on msn. Young people don't sleep, nono.

So my sister told me recently that some 20+ year old teacher back in NHPS died in her sleep randomly. My first thought was: OMG why so unlucky... But after giving it more thought, i started to wonder if she was really so unfortunate, after all, she did die a painless death and wasn't hurting all over...right?

Hi. Currently slacking from revision for chem. gonna sleep alr haha. I am such a slacker omg :> Actually I don't really feel like posting cuz my life sucks ttm and I've nth to post about. hehehe. Anw deciding between a) going out with sophia b) going back to NH with joyce or c) going out to play bball with exclassmates after BT tomorrow. But i guess it'll have to come after astro exco meeting and green council meeting. lol. fml man! And still have undone EOM S: Totally no idea how to do. Oh gawdddddd :P

Anyway I've to say that this BT was a lesson to me to start revision early. I can't say i screwed up but i most certainly didn't do well also. Hopefully tomorrow's chem paper will be an easy one cuz i seriously can't be bothered to do tys/ see my tutorials ;x. Hopefully my minimal revision is sufficient but then, no pain no gain and since i had no pain.. Well i guess it's no gain for me. Ah well. Hopefully life goes on :D Looking forward to tomorrow :DDDD

exploring

Okay. Anw. If any of you guys have been talking to me at all for the past few days, you'll knw that i wanna explore sgp. Hahahah.

Yesterday, went for badminton with 402 peeps in the morning and early afternoon. I was "classically late" LOL. Sorry to keep you guys waiting until they had to seat. Then when i arrive i still sit then i realised everyone was waiting for me haha. EXPLORED gombak's pasar malam. Nth much. Bought slurpee ;D Love my classmates. Joy's badminton is rather pro. Jocelyn and Fook's bros came too! Welll... Fook's bro seems to have slimmed down and his badminton is really goodddd. I played with Joy, Shiny, XingHui, Xinghui's bro, Yt, LC, erm... Huiqi...Who else?
Anw I started calling my backpack the explorer's backpack. And kept going on and on abt exploring lol. Apparently some of my friends caught my enthusiasm (erhemerhem). Okay lah not really.

Me, Jiaoyce, Jiao Tao, LC and radish head aka Mengyeow went to Clem's pizza for lunch. I ate spag and the rest ate Pizzapans I think. Lol. Jiaoyce ate the slowest. Kekeke.

;D AFTER that, we (Except LC who went home) decided to go exploring. Guess whose idea? Although I didnt invite radish head lah, he self invite one. LOL:P Okay hope he doesnt read this. Yeah. Then, we decided to go Mengyeow's house at Chinese Garden! The walk was very,very,very,very,veryx1000 long. Idk how mengyeow walk that distance everyday one la. Wtheck. hahaha. We went to his house and then stalked people's fb. ;D. Or rather SOMEONE stalked while we watched. Then played poker cards.

Then we decided to take bus to IMM to eat pepper lunch.. By then i alr die liao. My feet super lot of blisters and abit tired liao. Lol. Jiaoyce and MY didn't play badminton..so i think they were not so tired. Well I was. Decided to go home after that, missed ice-cream:( (anw i was so freakin full i couldnt eat anything haha)..

Walked ALONE (ya, abandoned by all my friends, jkjk.) to je station. haha at first i thought it would be pretty scary but actually alot of people walk la so not so scary. Thought abt whr to explore next on my way back. hahaha.

Anw.. Today was okay too! Woke up at 0930 to play audition. Lol i think i am abit weird. I prefer playing comp games early in the morning. I think because noone is up and i can play my games in peace. (cept for my bro but hes the best member of my family to be awake cos hes playing too lol).

Had piano later. Srsly i need to practice if i wanna have any hope of passing grade 8(let's not discuss merit or distinction first)...... Haish. Totally been abandoning my piano since O levels started. :( Gotta buck up XinHui!! Like jiaotao says.... ALLROUNDERS are the best. And i agree.

Managed to convince my bro and sis to go to the baking shop with me after that. ;D Bought lots of ingredients for the choco cake ;D Which i probably will be baking later. Yaya XINHUI the BAKER jkjk. Okok i think i am lame but ya. I will (or actually may) post pictures abt it here.

Do note that I'm not blogging for your benefit. Actually I'm blogging so that next time when i grow OLD i can rmb how my life was like. (although very LARGE bits and pieces are missing here and thr lol)
